Updates times 2 Million
So, I really haven’t kept this blog updated at all. So much has happened, really, just even too much to even write about. I’ll just say, the past is the past, and now is what’s happening so that’s all that matter at the moment (great way to get me out of typing! yay!). I’ve been dating this Hmong guy named Shoua for the past two months. We met at the same college we attend (which is now starting up again, GRADUATING THIS MAY!) and it has been love ever since. This boy really gets me. He is the sweetest guy I have ever dated, and I’ve had a good palate of them already. I finally met his mom (already met the rest of his family), and she doesn’t speak any English. All she could say to me is, “Hi, how are you?” smiling. It was shocking to hear how nice she said that to me, with a smile on my face, because I thought she would hate me. I showed up in the car with him at their place, and she looked at me while walking by his car, she said something to him in Hmong, and I thought maybe she would say, “Well I’m not getting in that car with her in there.” Instead, she said that she might be a while and that we could come in before we all leave. His family always wants to get together for dinner so they can all get to know me, but my schedule is going to be so busy with work and school. 24 credits and working full time to graduate. WOOHOO. Not. We will see how my GPA turns out at the end; I’m hoping for the best.
